What is Digital Motion X-Ray and How Can it Help Me?
DMX is an advanced fluoroscopic based X-Ray system that allows Doctors to view the spine in real-time motion at 30 x-rays per second. The procedure is performed with the patient standing or sitting and actively moving in a weight-bearing position within the system. This type of X-Ray is exceptionally useful in diagnosing many different pathology's that regular X-rays and MRI's cannot detect. Other studies that are done while being still, may not reveal the problem area. If the image is captured while the patient is in motion, the pathology can be seen in action, hence proving the injury an x-ray or MRI may not be able to detect.
